About Me
I design the conditions where AI actually works
Attila Ando — Experience Design Lead & Strategist in Dubai. I help banking, fintech, and enterprise teams turn design — and AI adoption — into an operating capability: clearer decisions, stronger direction, products that scale.
I work where design has to do more than produce screens…” reads fine as a general operating-level statement. Forcing an AI clause in here on top of the hero fix would start to feel repetitive this early on the page.
What I focus on
Three things, where design has the most leverage.
Better product decisions
Sharper problem definition, earlier alignment, and clarity — including where AI actually helps — before execution begins.
A stronger operating model
Ownership, governance, enablement, and AI-supported workflows that scale into capability instead of staying stuck with one team.
Quality that scales
Clear, accessible products built on the AI-assisted practices that need to survive beyond the person who introduced them.
How I Work
I step into complex or fast-changing environments and build the structure that’s missing — the same discipline whether the shift is organisational or AI-driven: clearer priorities, sharper framing, repeatable ways of working. The specifics change — rebuilding discovery around AI-assisted decision-making, building the AI-enabled DesignOps layer, attaching real accountability so AI adoption doesn’t stall once the pilot ends, mentoring teams through the shift — but the method holds. Understand the problem before committing to a direction.
AI runs through all of it now — not as a productivity layer, but as input into the decisions that actually move cost, risk, and delivery outcomes: where time is being lost, where risk is being deferred, where a bottleneck costs more than it looks like on paper.
What I bring
I bring a combination of strategic perspective, product design depth, and design maturity building.
AI governance & decision accountability
Turning AI-assisted workflows into real decision-making authority — clear ownership, escalation paths, and accountability that scales without becoming a bottleneck.
AI integration into operations
AI embedded as how the team actually operates, not run as a side experiment.
Teams built and led
Design capability grown, and the conditions for high-quality work put in place.
Enterprise usability and efficiency
Complex workflows redesigned for less friction and faster task completion.
A design operating model
Discovery-to-delivery workflow, governance, and enablement that align teams before execution.
0 → 1 Design
Capability shaped and launched from the ground up.
UX architecture ownership
Simplifying complex journeys while balancing security, usability, and technical constraints.
Scalable design systems
Foundations across web and native for consistency and long-term maintainability.
Accessibility at scale
Compliance lifted across a large SaaS product without losing usability.
What I believe
AI leadership isn’t about better tools. It’s about better decisions, stronger systems, and capability that survives past the pilot.
Most AI programmes prove a concept. Few build the accountability that makes people actually trust the output enough to act on it.
The goal was never more AI. It’s an organisation that’s learned how to transform itself with it.
